Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include:

  • Pain reduction
  • Stress and tension relief
  • Increased energy levels
  • Stronger digestion
  • Relief from bad habits and addictions
  • Greater sense of overall health and well-being

Electroacupuncture is a highly effective holistic treatment for pain, nausea, and chronic ailments.

In practice, it is actually very similar to traditional acupuncture using the exact same system of Chinese Medicine. We use electroacupuncture units applied to the outside of the skin (never breaking the skin barrier) to specific points along the meridians of your body.

This helps restore the healthy flow of Qi (energy) through your body, removing any blockages and clearing out stagnant areas, thus creating a stronger and clearer experience of health and well-being.

Bloodwork Analysis

Bloodwork analysis uses your most current bloodwork you received from your physician. If you do not have a physician we are able to run the bloodwork for you or if extra bloodwork is recommended.

After receiving the tests, we calculate the results and compare the lab values to what we call Optimal Ranges. Optimal Ranges may be slightly different, either providing a wider or smaller range of normal values depending on the specific test run.

Many times you may have "normal" values on your bloodwork but you still don't feel well. By looking at Optimal Ranges we are looking to help keep you, not just normal, but Optimally healthy.

Once we analyze the bloodwork along with your clinical history, we are then able to assist you with proper nutritional recommendations  and supplements that will help improve your lab values and support your overall health.

We also do comparison studies from previous bloodwork looking for trends so we can make the appropriate adjustment to your protocol.

Clinical Nutrition

Clinical Nutrition isn't just about what foods to eat but how foods directly affect your bloodwork and overall health.

No two people are alike. We specifically use your bloodwork values and your bloodwork analysis (see description above) to determine what programs will best benefit you and your lifestyle.

To help determine the best program for you, we may also use the Zyto Scan. (Please see corresponding description).

The companies developing the whole food nutritional supplements we use to help rebuild and support your body have been around for over 48 and 95 years. It goes back to the saying..."You are what you eat!"

When was the last time you ate liver? We grew up eating it at least every 2 weeks. Turns out, that was the right thing to do. By eating organic liver, you are actually helping support and build a strong healthy liver. That is super important with all the toxins in the environment.

Most people won't even touch liver and these days it is even hard to find in a regular grocery store. Since that is the case we are able to provide USDA inspected, BSE-free glandulars and whole food supplements to support your body's needs.

Instead of going the the local health food store or supplement shop wondering what support you may need to feel better and not knowing which product is good for you; we will build your nutritional protocol. It is like having a specialty grocery store specifically made just for you.

Energetic Emotional Release

Day to day stressors as well as life events we just didn't expect can be very traumatizing. Emotions are so significant and yet we tend to stuff them deep in our body like a junk drawer, not wanting to deal with them or even understand what they are about.

Pretty soon that junk drawer starts overflowing and manifests in disease seen as dis-ease.

Unfortunately we aren't taught how to deal with our emotions. Our parents may not have even known, thus could not teach us as children.

The body has a way of letting you know when you are out of balance and we can help you to understand the correlation.

Simple example: Low back pain in Chinese medicine is related to kidney energy. Kidney emotional energy is related to fear. When the energy is out of balance we see a person with low back pain and when diving deeper we find out that there are financial challenges happening at home or they just lost their job, etc.

Emotional release techniques can then be added to the treatment during the acupuncture session.

It is a foundational belief that all dis-ease is rooted in emotions. Lets clear them out and start feeling your best and having joy in your life.

Reiki Master

As you read through all of the services offered at The Integrated Path, we are always talking about energy. We have developed a program that is focused on supporting balanced frequency and energy.

Reiki was developed in the 1920's by Mikao Usui in Japan. Reiki means "universal life energy." Another wonderful ancient healing method.

Research suggests Reiki helps the body return to a state of relaxation, which allows the body to potentially better heal from damage brought on by stress, injury, or disease.  Published studies state health benefits include better sleep, improved mood, and pain relief.

Occupational Therapy

Wow, what a great combination, Eastern and Western medicine all at once.

So often ailments, discomforts and diseases need more than one profession working together to have the best outcomes. We understand the importance of working closely with other medical professionals to provide the best program for you on your healing journey.

One significant area we address with our patients is proper body mechanics. You may be seeing your chiropractor, massage therapist or even acupuncturist, but if you walk out of the office and continue with your poor body mechanics you won't see the results you are hoping for. Most pain doesn't happen overnight. It took years of continued wrong movements that set you up for that sciatic pain that "just happened when I was picking up a paperclip."

By providing acupuncture and occupational therapy together, we are providing a well rounded approach that will support your healing more effectively.

Zyto Elite

Zyto Elite is one of the programs we provide to determine your specific nutritional protocol along with your bloodwork analysis and clinical history.

It is a technology based on Galvanic Skin Response or GSR, the same technology used for over a century in equipment such as the polygraph test.

Everything in the world is made up of energy and has a unique frequency. NASA has measured and identified the electrical current for over 30,000 different energies from foods, bacteria, pesticides and more. These have all been programed into the Zyto Elite software.

Zyto Elite's cutting edge technology is able to work with your body's response to stimuli. Areas measured include frequencies related to organs, Chinese meridian pathways, acupuncture points, teeth, vertebra, chakras and more.

The most interesting part comes with the analysis of the the reported frequencies in each of the areas and finding the correlations to each other. It is fascinating to know and see how each meridian is connected to an organ, how each vertebra is connected to an organ and how each specific acupuncture point is connected to an organ.

These frequency responses are then compared to find patterns within the body. So often when we see the patterns, they correspond directly with the bloodwork. We look for the energy/frequency changes. It is felt the energy is typically off or out of balance before the body even starts to show physical symptoms.

All of this information is then combined with the bloodwork analysis and clinical history to develop your individualized protocol.
